Shatavari Root
Shatavari root, a member of the asparagus family, has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic medicine for its vast benefits and properties. It aids in the regulation of oestrogen levels thereby promoting regular menstrual cycles, while also supporting fertility as an anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-depressant. The benefits of age old Shatavari root are grounded in science, by various recent studies, which have identified a new anti-oxidant racemofuran, in addition to the two known antioxidants asparagamine A and racemosol.
Ashwagandha Root
Ashwagandha root has been found to have an adaptogenic quality. Put simply, adaptogens reduce stress experienced by the mind and body. Ashwagandha has a particular calming effect on the nervous system, reducing depression, anxiety, fatigue, stress-induced insomnia, exhaustion, and general brain “fog”. At the cellular level, Ashwagandha root has been shown to reduce oxidative stress by increasing antioxidant levels and activity in the body, thereby protecting the body from free radical damage.
Gotu Kola
This “herb of longevity” is used in traditional Chinese, Indonesian, and Ayurvedic medicine practices. Gotu kola is considered by many as a medicinal plant has the power to boost cognitive power, reduce stress, anxiety and depression, heal skin issues, promote liver and kidney health, as well as boosting circulation.
Passionflower
