Chicory Root 

Chicory root is packed with prebiotic fibre (inulin), that feeds the bacteria in the gut that is beneficial in reducing inflammation and maximising absorption of nutrients. Inulin also maintains digestive regularity, supports metabolism, as well as assisting with blood sugar control. 

Licorice Root

Licorice root is soothing on the stomach, assists in stress reduction by providing adrenal support and promoting digestion and a healthy gut. It's high prebiotic potential supports the gut by fostering production of healthy microbiota to support digestion and nutrient absorption. Its sweet smoothness is a delight, softening and rounding off more astringent and bitter flavours. Refreshing at any time of day.

Dandelion Root

Dandelion root is crucial in digestion and cleansing digestive pathways. Its primary function encourages bile production and speeds up the elimination of toxins and wastes in the liver. It has strong prebiotic potential, encouraging a healthy balance of microbiota in the gut.

Nettle Leaf

Nettle leaf provides a number of benefits, including providing hormonal balance and synchrony, aiding in proper liver function, and supporting healthy iron levels. The leaves are also astringent and high in vitamin C, purifying the system and building immunity.

Calendula Petals

how do you have it?

1 teaspoon per serving.

Infuse for 5-8 minutes in boiling water (longer if desired, to release more nutrients and flavour from the root ingredients).

I've had IBS for years and have found this to be a nice balanced and soothing tea to have in the morning
